Summer In The City

Help Summer Summerson, an eighteen year old girl from the middle of nowhere, to achieve her dream of becoming a professional photographer. After participating and winning an online photography contest, Summer receives an offer for a scholarship at one of the most prestigious art colleges in the country.
But in order to follow her dream she will have to leave her rural home and move into the big city, a new environment she never experienced before. Help Summer tackle that exciting new environment while meeting it's inhabitants.
While not all but many of the adult visual novels play with the theme of "corrupting the innocent", this game will take a different route. The characters in this story will embrace their sexuality, and create a sex positive environment around them aside from dealing with any of the daily struggles. It is somewhat of an adult coming of age story, learning about yourself and your desires and how to come to terms with them. Kinks and fetishes will play a role, so it will get dirty, but in a fun and consensual way.
This game is still in development and it's getting updated regularly. You may or may not run into bugs and issues. Saved games may become obsolete after installing an update. I'm trying my best to avoid this.

Is it only lesbian sex? Or other sex?
It's mostly focused on F/F relationships, but not exclusively. You will be able to choose between a bisexual or lesbian playthrough in the beginning of the game.
It's not bad per se, but it's been a while since I've un-ironically cringed this hard. The writing and models used just feel very outdated, as if it were made like 8 years ago.

I've already contacted itch.io several times regarding additional upload space, but they've never replied unfortunately. The default upload space is only 1GB, not nearly enough. I am indeed planning to add a replay feature in the future. Probably within the next two content updates if everything goes according to plan. It's pretty tough to get time management under control being a solo dev, but it's already on my to-do-list.

Hey! I absolutely love the game so far! i have a few questions:
1. Do you have a road map/time line for upcoming releases? I realise this is probably a part time thing for you so if not no problem!
2. In a similar vein, are you able to give an indication of how much of the story has already been covered and how much is left? Honestly there seems like there is a ton of potential with these characters that has barely been touched on and I know for one that I could eat up this world forever.
3. Will future updates be compatible with with past saves?
1. My goal is one update per two months max. So far I've been able to keep up with that schedule, but yeah, sometimes life can get in the way, so there might be occasions in the future where I won't be able to reach that goal. I can assure you though that you will never have to wait half a year or even longer for an update. Unless I'm getting kidnapped by aliens or other incidents in that ball park ;P
2. I've already written a rough outline for a story continuation into a second season. If everything goes well, Summer will experience many more years of adventures together with the bunch. There is some dependence on the financial success unfortunately (at least covering the development costs), not gonna lie, but I'm mostly doing it for fun, putting heart and soul into the game and the characters. And if people remain interested of course, that's kinda important too.
3. I'm working hard to build a structure around the game that prevents the need for a replay on current saves. I'm still fairly new to this kind of game development as well as writing in general, so there might still be future updates where I can't guarantee that a replay up to a certain part in the story isn't required, but I'll do my best to avoid this of course. I'm sure that I'll be able to prevent this from happening as soon as I reach the end of season one. Until then, it's still a learning process for me.

like if you dont get a d-pick from felix, but you do play games with him, it'll assume you did when you're at max's house. or if you dont peak on yun in the shower when you first meet, but do go along with her exhibitionism, it'll assume you did when you're talking with rosa during the tattooing

Hi! Just found your game last night and just finish all V42. I hope in a future update that there be some 3somes I would love to see speaically Summer with Yun and her bestfriend from home do a 3 some when she gets to see Summer. I kind of also want to see another 3some with Summer Yun and Cynthia I really think with those 3 together could be super hot to really tame Cynthia so much that Yun could order her to do what ever she wants.

The art and characters are beautiful. The story is funny, sweet, and endearing. It's one of the few games where I feel a twinge of guilt everytime that I add someone to my harem, because...Lily!

Wow! That was great! Quite a lot of content for Prologue. Nice renders, nice music, good story, good character development and good choices that make sense and that allow you to develop the story to your liking. Overall: Very good!
OK, here are my first impressions after a couple of hours of playing the game:
- the girls are cute;
- the story is engaging;
- not too many characters, at least for now. I prefer less characters and their evolution rather than too many that we don't see much;
- I liked the funny bits;
- I appreciate that we have the choice to go bisexual or lesbian;
- I hope to see Lily soon ;) ;
- I have to disagree about your writing; I really don't think it's mediocre, on the contrary, it's better than many other games I've played;
- the only 'negative' comment I would give is about that very large pink text box. It takes about 1/4 of the screen and I would like to have a setting which would enable to adjust the transparency
So, all in all, I enjoyed the game so far. I'm gonna replay it with different choices to see more content. Keep up the good work. Eager to see the next update. Thanks.

New characters will be introduced eventually, but I also prefer to keep things on a smaller scale for now in order for the characters to be able to "breathe" if you will.

Will there be the option to do a virgin playthrough? To me, engaging in sexual activities in this type of games is only exciting when I have the option to say no. Otherwise, it makes it feel forced. Like I want to CHOOSE to do it.
You will be able to avoid every single sexual interaction, but be aware that this route will have considerably less content. It is still first and foremost an adult visual novel.
